You decide
You are asked before your RapidID-linked information is shared for care, unless urgent treatment or the law allows limited access.
PRIVACY & CONSENT
RapidID links you to your health record. It does not make that record public. Approved care teams can see only what they need, when they have a proper reason.
You are asked before your RapidID-linked information is shared for care, unless urgent treatment or the law allows limited access.
A hospital, clinic or pharmacy sees only the information its authorised team needs to care for you.
Access can be traced. If someone looks at your information without a proper reason, it can be investigated.
Identity checks and secure connections protect your information when it moves between approved care providers.
ACROSS CARE SETTINGS
Your identity is confirmed through RapidID or another approved method.
Your choice and the care you need decide what an authorised team may see.
The team sees what is needed for safe care—not unrestricted access to everything.
Your record is updated so the next authorised provider does not have to start from zero.
EMERGENCY ACCESS
If you are unconscious or cannot speak, an approved responder may need a small set of details to keep you safe. This may include your identity, allergies, blood group, current medicine and next of kin. Emergency access is limited and recorded.
OUR DATA PROTECTION STATUS
RapidMedicare is certified by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) as a data controller and a data processor. That means the way we collect, use and protect your information is overseen by the NDPC.
